Toddler Ballet

Ages: 2-3.5 years old

This parent-child class is not just an introduction to music and dance, but also to basic ballet technique. Through the use of imagery, song, costumes and props, students work on developing coordination and musicality in a fun, dynamic environment. Listening skills and class etiquette are also practiced. The class is designed to begin formal ballet class structure and basic ballet vocabulary with parents participating as much as their child needs.

Preschool Ballet

Ages: 3.5-5 years old

Preschooler Ballet class continues working on the same fundamentals taught in Toddler Ballet with different exercises to keep students engaged and new technique is introduced. A higher degree of focus is expected as the students not only improve their coordination, musicality and technique, but also as they begin working at the barre. Formal ballet class structure is expanded upon as well as group work, working in pairs, and leadership skills.

Pre Ballet

Ages: 5-8 years old

PreBallet class begins a formal ballet class structure of warmup, barre, technique exercises, stretching, center work and reverence. All the fundamentals from previous levels are built upon, but with greater expectations of focus and discipline from the dancers. Barre work becomes an integral part of the class, and short dance phrases are presented and worked on with the expectation of memorization. Some props and imaginative play are included in exercises.

Adult Ballet Basics

Ages: 18 and up

This class is for those with little or no prior ballet experience as well as those with some knowledge of ballet technique. This class can cater to multiple skill levels at once. The class will follow a standard ballet class format starting with barre work, streatching, and center work. Focus will be on how to practice positions and steps in a safe way for all body types. Engaging the core, hip rotation, and proper allignment are important parts of safe technique which will be explored.

Masks are currently optional for ALL students and guardians entering the studio and accompanying children 2+.

All Classes are In-Person

$205-$215/Fall Session

11-week and 12-week classes starting September 6th

Classes are 45min, once per week.
