Pre Ballet

Ages: 5-8 years old

In this fun and creative class, we explore foundational ballet concepts, including musicality, alignment, and ballet class structure: warmup, barre, technique, stretching, center work and reverence. Fundamentals from previous levels are built upon with greater expectations of focus and discipline from the dancers. Short dance phrases are presented and worked on with the expectation of memorization to culminate into a showcase. Props and imaginative play encourage joyful learning.
